Kindermusik

On Thursday mornings Abe , Vi and I take a Kindermusik class. Abe is the oldest in the class which really is hard for me. Our teacher has made him her "asisstant" which really helps. I think this is Vi's and even Abe's favorite thing of the week, but truthfully, it is the time of week I DREAD the most! :( I love that they are doing something together.. BUT Abe is really annoying at the class. It feels like all I do is reprimand him the entire time. WHICH is not fun to do! I am contemplating leaving the class for this reason. It has been one month.. I keep thinking it will get better but it isn't!!! This is Violet playing with balls at the beginning of class. We see her teacher from time to time around town and she always points to her fingers like we do in one of the songs.. very cute!

It has happened.. They both can ride without training wheels! YIPEE!!!

another crafter!

Violet LOVES to craft- I know, I know, big suprise! She will sit for a long time just painting or coloring- I do need to stick close to make sure it ends up on paper..

goings on...

I just wanted to give some updates.. Parker is doing well at school. It has been an adjustment - she comes home very tired.. I am hoping that she adjusts .. she is quite a bear in the evening. Abe is doing well at his school- he loves it still - I am working part part time-and have started my montessori certification. The class is once a week and very long! 7 hours- It is fascinating! I love it- I have hired a wonderful woman to help us out on my class days. I will take these classes sept through june and then I have to student teach a mere 720 hours! (only) :) and I am planning on doing that next year when vi is a little older.
Parker starts her dance lessons tomorrow at the same studio- She has decided to only do ballet this year- swim lessons will be starting soon as well. I am hoping they can handle awana- I am not sure about that-
My husband is doing well and we have been maximizing family time- we love and miss you who are far away-
oh we will send an email about parker's school fundraiser! :)

It is berry season, and we have been picking- some of us don't pick- just eat them out of the bucket..and spread it around our faces..

pretty days

we have had AMAZING weather lately- it really helps negate the crappy, crappy days! I know they are coming soon.. Vi really loves the playground lately- we have a new one that is really close by and appeals to everyone in our family.

some for me..

Violet subscribes to the "some for me- some for the paper" method of drawing these days- A little here, a little there- a little on my chair! SHe actually did get some on the gift paper she was trying to get it on. Clearly, it doubles a snack as well!

soccer team

Abe stated soccer last week and he is loving it! It is micro league which is 3 on 3. He is getting more ball time which he likes. He definitely likes it better this year.

snack

Violet and Luke were playing at raindrops and rainbows which is awesome by the way and they were playing with play doh for the first time. I ended up taking many pictures of this even and in EVERY SINGLE SHOT one of them is eating the play doh and/or sucking on something that play doh on it!

accident

Abe had an accident recently- he was on his scooter out front and had an argument with a friend over the scooter- he fell and landed on the side of the handlebar- so he has a perfectly circle shaped bruise- cute scrape on the side of his face. :) The last few days, ithas changed to the lovely yellow green bruise!
