I actually thought Spring Break would be worse than this.. The week before, we had school but no lessons. This past week e had no school, but had lessons. It was ok. I do think it was good transition for Abe and the new school. James is traveling.. so I am missing a break for sure. Before this business trip, he and Violet really bonded. It was awesome. She would even cry for him!! Really that is a hooray moment- she is a total MOMMY lover. I would hold her, and if he walked by and did not acknowledge her, she would yell. :) It was great because I could get a little break sometimes.
We had our first Spring Like temps today... it was BEAUTIFUL! My kids will be better bike riders. they really are lacking!! It is because Their dad travels alot-So it is usually up to me.. I get really frustrated , they are very fearful on the bikes and act like fools so I get frustrated with them. Now I am forcing myself to deal with this. I really need them to get better , so I can run while they bike. SO today I made them ride their bikes- It actaully went well, with only one tragedy, one average there is about 6.. so that is progress!!
We have been able to talk with James lately. He actually laughed on the phone- this is the first time I can remember that happening. It doesn't even matter that he was making fun of me because I told him I wanted to take a baby sign class with Violet!! :) He is just sad he will miss it! HA!

I know what you mean about having Violet want James. Taylor is a total Mommy's girl until I went to work. Now, I only work part time,2or 3 days per week. It helped tremendously! I love it now when he is around she wants him. Blessing!!!
We don't live on the greatest street for bike riding, and taking them all out is a challenge sometimes. You can do it! Alexis had the hardest time learning how to pedal. Not sure why. Hopefully we will be able to get the bikes out more this summer. Do they pedal fast enough for you to run? I would be forever waiting for Alexis I am sure if I would try that!

I wish I could give advice on the bike deal but I am still at tricycle stage. Sounds like you survived spring break. Heard the weather has been decent out there. Our's is still all over the place. I really can't wait till it's warm on a constant basis!
So I am not the fastest runner but I have been doing the couch to 5K training. I am running a race in June. I need to run outside 3 times a week. It is really hard sometimes. There is one park that I can run around with violet while they play- But I can change the scenery if they ride bikes. I do run faster than they ride, but at least they are closer than walking..thanks for the encouragement!
That is awesome! I have friends that like to run marathons. It is a great accomplishment. I wish you the best of luck. You will have to let us know how that goes!
